WILL HAVE THE FINAL WORD (Martin Luther King Jr.) I ntimately especially, C autious about all the liars T hat can treat you deceptively. O bligingly polite to some, R eserved for some damn’ good reason, I believe that you are awesome A t any time of the season… © 2003 I mpatiently waiting for you, C onsiderate of your own way T o say good-bye or toot-a-loo. O bviously you are careful, R igorous, but respectful. I certainly miss you deeply A nd wait alone quite stoically. © 2003 I ntuition being God’s language, C ontinue listening to the wind and T alking to the stars way out there, O therwise you may not understand: R emembering the past is not mad, I t helps deciphering God’s signs A lways sent to us right on time. © 2005 I behave like a child, C hallenging the values T hat many believe in, O r talking sheer nonsense. R emember, that’s the way I nstruments of the Light A ct with unshaken faith. © 2005 I noticed I cannot foresee C onsequences of my actions. T he suffering I’m going through O ften brings up all but sadness. R elentless in my search for God I am the slave of all my dreams A nd you are part of such a quest. © 2005 I enjoy the playground of your C urves, of your secret trigger points, T he sensuous silk that I’ve found O ver every part of your skin… R ejoicing at all that is there, I confess daydreaming of you A t every moment of this life… © 2005 “close, affectionate friendship” that we both pledged at the Water Club. And like Angie is your girlfriend, I had hoped to be your boyfriend, i.e. your best male friend, sharing some of life’s precious moments, with no strings attached. Alas, Never could I have imagined you would someday give me the silent treatment. Obviously, “la basura” prevailed over friendship... As painful as it still is, I know it’s one of God’s ways to test someone’s real faith, the type that can move mountains. And so despite your silent distance, you remain in my thoughts and prayers through silent days and silent nights... © 2006 all poems © Gilles Marie-Paul Laheurte | Inspirational Poems | Angeline | A Karmic Lesson | Samples1 | Samples2 | | Return Home | Architecture & Planning | Fine Arts | Writing | Poetry | Music | Photography | Theater | Contact | |
